Can I pick my puppy out in person?

Since most of my puppies haven't received their full vaccinations, I do not allow handling of our puppies or picking out puppies in person. I work extremely hard to minimize any outside exposure for the health and safety of our puppies. All of my puppies are picked out by picture and video.

What will my puppy come with?

All puppies come with a Florida health certificate, vaccinations, and deworming. Registration can be given. A puppy gift bag is also sent with every puppy that includes food, puppy pads, Nutri Cal, and toys.

Will I have to sign a contract?

Once a deposit has been placed on your puppy, or you have purchased your puppy in full, a contract will be sent over through text, email or in person that you can sign and initial.

Will my puppy come potty trained?

All of my puppies are introduced to using puppy pads. In order for this to work in your home, you must follow the advice/tips we offer during transition.

Puppies generally take anywhere from six months to a year to become completely potty trained.

What is the payment process?

After the deposit is made, the remaining balance is due at the time of pick up. Cash, Zelle or CashApp is accepted.

What if I change my mind after purchasing and paying for a puppy in full from your website?

I encourage you to be fully committed to the purchase of your pet. If you change your mind after your purchase, your puppy will be Relisted for sale on our website, with no refund, as we don't not refund puppy sales.

Do you offer payment arrangements?

I have worked with all kinds of payments and budgets. I generally give up to 14 weeks of age to make payments weekly, bi weekly or monthly. Deposits must be placed on the Puppy first and the remainder can be arranged if needed.

Is my deposit refundable if I change my mind?

Deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind. The only time a deposit is refundable is if something happens to your puppy in my care that results in the death of your puppy. You would then be offered a full refund, or alternate puppy, whichever customer chooses.

When will my puppy be ready for pick up?

The puppies are usually available for pick up between 8-12 weeks of age after a Florida health certificate has been issued by my veterinarian. Sometimes puppies might need additional treatments or medications which could delay pick up by several weeks but we do not know of this until your puppy goes in for the health certificate examination.

Can my puppy be delivered?

I offer delivery anywhere in the continental US. Delivery cost is based on round trip mileage. Please be prepared to pay a deposit to reserve delivery and then the remaining shipping fee is paid upon departure of your puppy.

I'm a first time puppy parent. Will Chocolate Yorkie Love provide advice and tips to get me started?

I want to make sure the transition of your puppy from our home to yours is seamless, exciting and comfortable for you and your family. I will always be a text or phone call away to help you decide on what foods to feed your furbaby, bedding and kennel options, grooming, puppy pad training and more. I can be your life line for any challenges you might face even after you get your puppy home.

How do I know that this isn't a scam?

I recommend that you do your research before you buy a puppy. I am open to FaceTime calls to speak as well.
